April Featured Photographer

Mike Winn is our featured photographer for April 2023. 

Mike was raised in Hollister and has been involved in photography since he was 21 years old. In those early years, he worked hard to hone his skills and knowledge and went from it being just a hobby to a full time profession when he decided to open his own studio in Gilroy, CA. In the span of 18 years his business grew as he photographed around 350 weddings, many families and senior pictures.

He retired in 2005, but still enjoys photography and especially enjoys the digital, smaller cameras and his iPhone. He continues to experiment with the new technology and likes to use many of the new editing apps, that can make a photo look like a painting. He has enjoyed traveling to many of the US National Parks, Canada, Mexico, Italy, England, Belgium and Amsterdam. He has been a member of the Morgan Hill Photography Club for many years, and is grateful for their support and encouragement.
