Message Board

The club’s Message Board is the primary method by which club members obtain information about club activities.  All announcements from club leaders are disseminated through the message board.  It is also acts as a membership list and provides a way for club members to freely communicate with each other.  It is important that all dues paying members subscribe to the board in order to keep abreast of club activities, events, and announcements.

Club Members may request to subscribe to the message board by clicking on the “+ Apply For Membership In This Group” icon found on the board’s home page.  Include your FULL NAME in the “Display Name” section of your user profile so we may identify you as a club member.  Participation in the message board is restricted to club members and the conversations (posts) cannot be seen by the general public.

Your subscription request needs to be approved by the group’s moderator to make sure you are a dues paying member of the club. You should receive approval within 24 hours.

Photo Sharing

The club uses several Facebook and flickr® groups to share images among members.  Although the general public can see the images only club members can post images or make comments in these groups.  If you already have a Facebook and/or a flickr® account you’re all set, otherwise you’ll need to create one.  Go to flickr.com and/or facebook.com  sign up to create your account.

Club members may request to join the club’s various image sharing groups, and be able to post images, by clicking on the “Join Group” icons found  on the group’s home page. In some cases you will need to complete the Contact the Group Administrator Form requesting to be added to the group or answer some questions to verify you are a dues paying member of the club. Please include your REAL NAME since it is sometimes difficult to determine if you are a member of the club from a flickr ID alone.

Facebook

The club maintains a facebook page that posts notices about club activities so we may engage with the general public.  Liking the page keeps members and others connected with the club through their smartphones, tablets, or computers. When members and others interact with the posts on our page we learn what they care about, which helps us improve the services we provide.

The club’s facebook page makes the Morgan Hill Photography Club more visible and encourages members and non-members to become more engaged.  If you haven’t previously “liked” our facebook page, click here and do it now.
