“Leaves” is the Photo Theme for November

Leaves – It’s Fall and colorful leaves are everywhere.  Leaves can be photographed either in-situ – on the trees or plants, or when they have fallen off the branch.  When photographing leaves on trees, look for an interesting leaf or a cluster of leaves that can be the main subject in your photograph.  Try and capture a leaf as it falls to the ground.  Try a macro shot – leaves have a lot of intricate details in the form of textures, patterns, colors that look great in macro shots.  Try backlighting your leaf to reveal its internal structure.

Create photographs that fit the theme and upload up to five of them to the club’s Monthly Photo Themes flickr group.  Please tag them with the key word leavesPost them during November not before or after.  That way they’ll appear together with other club member’s images.
