“Hats” are the Photo Theme for February

Hats – If you think that photographing hats is plain sailing, you’ve probably never tried to do it.  In fact, hats are made of different materials, have varied shapes and sizes, and are decorated with miniature elements, which significantly complicates the shooting process.  Try photographing them by themselves or better yet with people wearing them.  Avoid distracting backgrounds and try adding additional props – e.g. a cowboy bely with a cowboy hat.  In any case hats off to our members who submit entries.

Create photographs that fit the theme and upload up to five of them to the club’s Monthly Photo Themes flickr group.  Post them during February, not before or after, that way they’ll appear together with other club member’s images.
