June Featured Photographer

Reno DiTullio is our featured photographer for June 2022. 

Reno’s photography life began the day he borrowed his father’s Argus C3 camera (50mm f3.5 lens)to photograph the road races at the Laguna Seca race track. It was a big disappointment!  When he got the 4×6 prints back from the local lab, he could barely see the race cars.  Soon after, he bought a Yashica SLR 35mm camera with a Lentar 90-230mm lens, which made a big difference…and his photography took a giant leap forward and took on a life of its own.  Since then Reno has done weddings, portraits, stock and landscape photography, and landscapes – his preferred subject. Reno relied on a 37 year career as a professional firefighter to help supplement his meager photography earnings.  Today, he is totally involved in photography, but, no more weddings, stock or portraits.  Regardless he always has a camera close at hand.
