“Clouds” are the Photo Theme For March

Clouds – If you’re into landscape photography then you will almost certainly know that clouds can have a massive impact on the atmosphere and beauty of a shot. Clouds can be very effective at shaping the mood of your photo.  Whether they are wispy and light cirrus clouds or thick and smoky cumulus, a cloudy day is often the perfect time to pull out the camera.

Some tips: Look for different clouds to create different moods; check the weather forecast; use a neutral density filter fo long exposures; include landscapes in your images; and, zoom in for more detail.

Create photographs that fit the theme and upload up to five of them to the club’s Monthly Photo Themes flickr group.  Post them during March, not before or after, that way they’ll appear together with other club member’s images.
