October Featured Photographer
Mark Grzan is our featured photographer for October 2020.
Mark’s photographic interests include street, studio, macro, city, architecture, and landscape photography. He has donated some of his work to various non-profit organizations such as, Committee for Green Foothills, Open Space Authority, and the County of Santa Clara. Over the past 20 years, he has taught various photography related courses at Gavilan and Foothill Colleges, and has been a guest lecturer at several South Bay Camera Clubs.
The plants in his garden were hand-selected by him from 25 nurseries located in 20 states and countries. The majority of the plants are dahlias, lilies, day-lilies, and roses. Each was selected for shape, color, texture, photogenic qualities, and intoxicating perfume. Inspired by John Claude Monet, the garden has attracted many photographers who, taken by its beauty, have created numerous photographs that they have shared with their friends and families.
His images will only be available for viewing during the month of October, 2020.
