A panorama, is a picture containing a wide-angle, unbroken view of the region surrounding an observer. Panoramas can be either horizontal or vertical. Many movies are shot in a panoramic format using anamorphic lenses that squeeze the image in one direction while shooting and then un-squeeze them in projection. Your smartphone/tablet may be able to take panoramas in one continuous shot. When using a DSLR you may have to stitch several images together. No matter what method you use the result will be wide-angle view of the subject.
The Morgan Hill Photography Club invites you to view the world as a panorama. We hope you enjoy the show.
