Date: December 4, 2017

Join us for an all-day adventure in the Golden Gate. The day will begin at Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands, then on to either Red Rock Beach or the Stinson Beach Boulders along Shoreline Highway. We will gather somewhere between Steep Ravine Canyon and Stinson Beach, to photograph powerful waves of up to 20 feet high coinciding with a high tide of +6.5.

In the afternoon we will travel to San Francisco’s Marshall Beach. We will be hiking down from the bluffs (1/2-mile; approx. 300 feet decent) to take advantage of an extremely low tide. At low tide the Golden Gate Bridge’s south tower can be safely accessed, where you will be able to take a truly rare shot of the bridge.

You need to act quickly since this all-day event is limited to the first twenty (20) club members who signup. Detailed information will be provided to those who RSVP. Car pools will be arranged. To signup, ask for more information, or request to be a carpool driver or passenger contact Mark Grzan – provide your cell phone number.

After the shootout club members can upload their images to the club’s Shootout flickr® group pool. Title your images “GGADVENTURE” and tag or keyword them with the date “04DEC17“. If you are a club member but not a member of flickr® learn how to join here.

Take only pictures, leave nothing behind!
